Please be advised that there will be an ACE CERTIFICATION deployment on Thursday morning,
August 4, 2016, starting at 0700 ET.
The deployment is expected to take approximately 30 minutes, and will impact ACE Cargo Release and ACE Entry Summary processing.
To be deployed:
• Initial deployment of NAFTA Duty Deferral EDI message functionality to CERT. Trade can submit NAFTA Duty Deferral to CBP using the new NE message. Trade response is the new NX message.
• CES-5587: Turn off FIRMS validations.
At the present time the severity of the following FIRMS code validations is set to “I” (Informational). We will restore the severity of the validations back to “F” (Fatal) and turn the validations off until further notice.
