RE: The tariff classification of 4-Vinyl-1-Cyclohexene (CAS 100-40-3) from Japan.
Dear Mr. Chivini:
In your letter dated February 22, 2000, you requested a tariff classification ruling for 4-Vinyl-1-Cyclohexane which you have stated is a chemical intermediate and will be packaged in bulk form.
The applicable subheading will be 2902.19.0050, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for cyclic hydrocarbons: other. This provision is free of duty.
This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
