Compliance With Animal Welfare Act
[Pub. L. 117–328, div. A, title VII, § 750], Dec. 29, 2022, [136 Stat. 4505], provided that: “In this fiscal year [fiscal year 2023] and thereafter, and notwithstanding any other provision of law, ARS facilities as described in the ‘Memorandum of Understanding Between the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Concerning Laboratory Animal Welfare’ (16–6100–0103–MU Revision 16–1) shall be inspected by APHIS for compliance with the Animal Welfare Act [7 U.S.C. 2131 et seq.] and its regulations and standards.”
