Keeping a Public Record of Compensation Awarded by the Court to Examiners, Trustees, and Professionals
(a)
In General.
(1)
Required Items
. The clerk must keep a public record of fees the court awards to examiners and trustees, and to attorneys, accountants, appraisers, auctioneers, and other professionals that trustees employ. The record must:
(A)
include the case name and number, the name of the individual or firm receiving the fee, and the amount awarded;
(B)
be maintained chronologically; and
(C)
be kept current and open for public examination without charge.
(2)
Meaning of “Trustee.”
As used in this rule, “trustee” does not include a debtor in possession.
(b)
Annual Summary of the Record

At the end of each year, the clerk must prepare a summary of the public record, by individual or firm name, showing the total fees awarded during the year. The summary must be open for public examination without charge. The clerk must send a copy of the summary to the United States trustee.
