§ 273.
Pan American Institute of Geography and History; authorization of annual appropriations for membership
In order to meet the obligations of the United States as a member of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History, there are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of State—
(1)
such sums as may be required for the payment by the United States of its share of the expenses of the Institute, as apportioned in accordance with the statutes of the Institute;
(2)
such additional sums as may be needed annually for the payment of all necessary expenses incident to participation by the United States in the activities of the Institute; and
(3)
the sum of $386,050 for payment by the United States of its assessed annual contributions for the period beginning July 1, 1964, and extending through the fiscal year expiring June 30, 1969.
