FROM BRAZIL - (C-351-604)

1. The Department of Commerce has completed its administrative
review of the countervailing duty order on brass sheet and
strip from Brazil and published the final results in the
Federal Register on November 6, 1991 (56 FR 56631).

2. Imports covered by the review are shipments of brass sheet
and strip, other than leaded brass and tin brass sheet and
strip from Brazil. The chemical composition of the products
under review is currently defined in the Copper Development
Association (C.D.A.) 200 series or the United Numbering
System (U.N.S.) C20000 series. Products whose chemical
compositions are defined by other C.D.A. or U.N.S. series are
not covered by this review. The physical dimensions of the
products covered by the order are brass sheet and strip of
solid rectangular cross section over 0.006 inches (0.15
millimeters) through 0.188 inches (4.8 millimeters) in
finished thickness or gauge, regardless of width. Coiled,
wound on reel (traverse wound) and cut-to-length products are
included.

During the review period, such merchandise was classifiable
under item numbers 7409.21.00 and 7409.29.00 of the
Harmonized Tariff Schedule.

3. Accordingly, for shipments of brass sheet and strip from
Brazil entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption
on or after November 6, 1991, you shall waive the collection
of cash deposit of estimated countervailing duties. PLEASE
NOTE, THIS IS EXCLUSIVE OF THE ANTI-DUMPING CASH DEPOSIT OF
THIS ORDER.

4. These cash deposit requirements will remain in effect until
publication of the final results of the next administrative
review.

Do not liquidate any entries of this merchandise included in
this administrative review until assessment instructions are
received.

Officers, please contact Via E-Mail, through the Regional
Antidumping\Countervailing Duty Coordinator, the Trade
Compliance Division, Antidumping\Countervailing Duty Branch,
