1. On 03/07/2023, Commerce published in the Federal Register its countervailing duty order on barium chloride from India (88 FR 14120). 2. The merchandise covered by this order is barium chloride, a chemical compound having the formulas BaCl2 or BaCl2-2H2O, currently classifiable under subheading 2827.39.4500 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). Although the HTSUS subheading is provided for convenience and customs purposes, the written description of the scope of this investigation is dispositive. 3. For imports of barium chloride from India, CBP shall suspend liquidation of entries of subject merchandise entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 02/23/2023 (date of publication of the International Trade Commission final determination in the Federal Register). Effective 02/23/2023, CBP shall require a cash deposit equal to the percentages identified below.
