PUBLISH IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER AN AMENDED ANTIDUMPING DUTY ORDER
IN THE INVESTIGATIONS OF CALCIUM ALUMINATE (CA) CEMENT, CEMENT
CLINKER AND FLUX.
THIS IS IN RESPECT TO THE CA FLUX PORTION OF
THOSE INVESTIGATIONS.

THE PRODUCT COVERED BY THE ORDER IS CA FLUX, OTHER THAN
WHITE, HIGH PURITY CA FLUX.
THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS BY WEIGHT MORE
THAN 32
PERCENT BUT LESS THAN 65 PERCENT ALUMINA AND MORE THAN
ONE PERCENT EACH OF IRON AND SILICA.
CA FLUX IS CURRENTLY
CLASSIFIABLE UNDER HARMONIZED TARIFF SCHEDULE OF THE UNITED
STATES (HTSUS) SUBHEADING: 2523.10.0000.
ALTHOUGH THE HTSUS
SUBHEADING IS PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE AND CUSTOMS PURPOSES, THE
WRITTEN DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE REMAINS DISPOSITIVE.

FOR FURTHER REPORTING PURPOSES, THIS CASE HAS BEEN
ASSIGNED INVESTIGATION NUMBER A-427-812.

NOTIFIED THE DOC THAT IMPORTS OF CA FLUX FROM FRANCE THREATEN
MATERIAL INJURY TO THE U.S. INDUSTRY.
THE ITC DID NOT DETERMINE,
BUT FOR THE SUSPENSION OF LIQUIDATION OF ENTRIES OF CA FLUX FROM
FRANCE, THE DOMESTIC INDUSRTY WOULD HAVE BEEN MATERIALLY INJURED.
THE U.S. CUSTOMS SERVICE SHALL TERMINATE SUSPENSION AND REFUND
ANY CASH DEPOSIT AND RELEASE ANY BOND OR OTHER SECURITY OF CA
FLUX FROM FRANCE FOR ENTRIES, ENTERED OR WITHDRAWN FROM
WAREHOUSE,FOR CONSUMPTION PRIOR TO JUNE 15, 1994,
THE DATE OF
PUBLICATION OF THE ITC'S FINAL DETERMINATION IN THE FEDERAL
REGISTER.
INTEREST PROVISION OF SECTION 778 OF THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930 DO
NOT APPLY.
