On 12/22/2015, Commerce published in the Federal Register its preliminary affirmative determination and alignment of its final determination in the countervailing duty investigation of certain cold-rolled steel products from Brazil from 02/28/2016 until no later than 05/08/2016, unless postponed, thereby aligning it with the due date for the final determination in the antidumping duty investigation of certain cold-rolled steel products from Brazil (80 FR 79569).

The products covered by this investigation are described in message 5238302 dated 08/26/2015.

This investigation has been assigned investigation number C-351-844.

For imports of certain cold-rolled steel products from Brazil, CBP shall suspend liquidation of such shipments entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 12/22/2015.
Effective 12/22/2015, CBP shall require, for such entries, a cash deposit or the posting of a bond equal to the subsidy rates for the following companies:
Producer and/or Exporter: All Others

Subsidy rate: 7.42%
Producer and/or Exporter: Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN)
