1. On 6/24/2016, Commerce published in the Federal Register its preliminary affirmative determination, and alignment of its final determination in the countervailing duty investigation of certain biaxial integral geogrid products (“geogrids”) from the People's Republic of China (“PRC”) from 8/31/2016 until no later than 10/31/2016, thereby aligning it with the due date for the final determination in the antidumping duty investigation of geogrids from the PRC (81 FR 41292).

2. On 6/24/2016, Commerce published in the Federal Register (81 FR 41292) its affirmative preliminary determination of critical circumstances in the countervailing duty investigation of geogrids from the PRC.

3. The products covered by this investigation are described in message 6048303 dated 02/17/2016.

4. This investigation has been assigned investigation number C-570-037.

5. Because Commerce determined that critical circumstances exist for imports of geogrids from the PRC from the producers and/or exporters listed below, CBP shall suspend liquidation of all appropriate entries of geogrids from the PRC that are entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 3/26/2016 (90 days before publication of the preliminary determination) which is 90 days before the date of publication of the preliminary determination in the Federal Register. Effective 3/26/2016 (same day), for entries of geogrids from the PRC from the producers and/or exporters listed below, CBP shall require a cash deposit equal to the following subsidy rates:
