- Effective Date: Jan 12, 2018
1.
On 01/12/2018, in response to a request by Stoughton Trailer LLC (Stoughton), Commerce issued a final scope determination that composite panels consisting of two pieces of corrosion-resistant steel bonded to a plastic core (composite panels) which Stoughton imports are within the scope of the countervailing duty order on corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE) from the People's Republic of China (China) (C-570-027).
2.
Because the imported product is similar to the subject CORE in terms of physical characteristics, ultimate purchaser expectations, and manner of advertisement, Commerce found this product to be within the scope of the order.
3.
Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of CORE from China, including the composite panels imported by Stoughton described above, subject to the countervailing duty order on CORE from China.
