- Effective Date: Jun 14, 2018
- Notice of Lifting of Suspension Date: Aug 08, 2018
1.
On 06/14/2018, in response to a request by Produits Matra, Inc. (Matra), Commerce issued a final scope determination that Matra's Primelock trim boards that are not edge-glued which Matra exports are within the scope of the countervailing duty order on certain softwood lumber products from Canada (C-122-858).
2.
Because the Primelock, ultra-violet surface treatments applied to the non-edge-glued, trim boards do not render the products as finished goods that are excluded from the order, Commerce found the products to be within the scope of the order.
3.
Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of certain softwood lumber products from Canada, including non-edge glued, Primelock trim boards exported by Matra described above, subject to the countervailing duty order on certain softwood lumber products from Canada.
