1. On 08/28/2018, the International Trade Commission (ITC) published in the Federal Register its final determination in the countervailing duty investigation of cast iron soil pipe fittings from the People's Republic of China (C-570-063) (83 FR 43899) that two domestic like products exist for the merchandise covered by Commerce's investigation: 1) drain bodies; and 2) all other cast iron soil pipe fittings. The ITC determined that a U.S. industry is not materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports of drain bodies from the People's Republic of China; therefore, drain bodies are not covered by the countervailing duty order on cast iron soil pipe fittings (83 FR 44566) and the countervailing duty investigation with respect to drain bodies has been terminated.

2. CBP should discontinue the suspension of liquidation of entries of drain bodies which were entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 12/19/2017 through 4/17/2018 (the date of first suspension of liquidation of subject merchandise through the expiration of provisional measures). Entries should be liquidated without regard to countervailing duties. All estimated countervailing duties deposited on entries of drain bodies shall be refunded.

3. Notice of the lifting of suspension of liquidation of entries of merchandise entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 12/19/2017 through 04/17/2018 occurred with the publication of the ITC's notice of negative final determination of investigation (83 FR 43899, 08/28/2018).

4. The interest provisions of section 778 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, do not apply.
