§ 1005.405 - Borrower residency status.

(a) An eligible Borrower who is an Indian must be:

(1) A U.S. citizen;

(2) A lawful permanent resident alien; or

(3) A non-permanent resident alien.

(b) Documentation must be provided to the Direct Guarantee Lender to support lawful residency status as defined in the Immigration and Nationality Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. 1101, et seq.
